We are presently manufacturing TMT Bars ranging from 8mm to 32mm Dia through our fully automatic rolling unit.
M.S. Ingot is a raw material to manufacture the TMT Bars and Our Company is manufacturing M.S. Ingot also to cater the raw material needs to some extent for self-consumption.
For year’s, Bamboo has been used by man for construction activities, later it has been replaced by CTD (Cold Twisted Deformed steel rods) or TOR steel rods. The manufacturers adopted the “Cold Twisting Process” in which the naturally cooled rods were twisted by means of motors. Thus the molecular structure of the core steel is weakened. Thus it should not be used for construction activities.
Now, the TMT (THERMO MECHANICALLY TREATED) steel bars have emerged.
TMT Bars, Thermo mechanically treated bars are high strength deformed steel bars used in reinforced cement concrete (RCC) work manufactured with the help of advancement of technology. TMT bars are latest production in MS steel bars and have superior properties such as strength, ductility, welding ability, bending ability and highest quality standards at international level.

The tensile strength , percentage elongation, percentage total elongation at maximum force and 0.2 percent proof stress of bars shall be determined in accordance with requirements of IS: 1608 read in conjunction with IS: 2062.
The test sample shall be bend to an included angle of 135o using a mandrel of appropriate diameter. The bent piece shall be aged by keeping in boiling water 100oC for 30 min. and then allowed to coll. The piece shall then be bend back to have an included angle of 157.5oc. The test sample shall be considered to have passed the test if there is no rupture or cracks visible to a person of normal or corrected vision on the re-bend portion.
The test sample when cold shall be doubled over the specified mandrel by continuous pressure until the sides are parallel. The test sample shall be considered to have passed the test if there is no rupture or cracks visible to a person of normal or corrected vision on the re-bend portion.
